Majority of the patients were men (74.47%) and belonged to the Caucacian race (58.57%). Median age at the time of diagnosis was 66.16 years (range: 42.33 - 95.5 years). Detailed patient demographics are presented in Table 1. The median follow-up duration was 28 months (range: 6 - 18.5 years). A total of 446 (2.83%) patients developed 466 SPM with observed/expected (O/E) ratio of 1.07 (95% CI= 0.97-1.17) and AER of 7.17 per 10,000 population, p = 0.16. These patients had significant excess risk of non-Hodgkinââ¬â¢s lymphoma and several solid tumors including cancers of head and neck, lung, thyroid, adrenal glands, stomach, anus and hepatobiliary region. Interestingly, there was significantly decreased risk of prostate cancer among HCC patients compared to general population.
